Tamworth Firewards accept January minutes, review NERIS reporting and note candidate filing

The Tamworth Board of Firewards opened its Feb. 5 meeting at 19:33 and accepted the Jan. 8, 2026 minutes as amended after a motion by M. Baumann and a second from J. Hartley; all were in favor.
Chief R. Colcord advised members to continue their TEMSIS entries as usual and then generate a NERIS report. He cautioned that, for now, a straight NERIS report for a non-medical call requires entering each responder’s name and time individually; he said a system enhancement is expected in the future to allow group entry.
Chairman Jim Bowles reminded members to use descriptive text in NHERS entries rather than generic terms such as "Station Duty" so records accurately reflect work completed. Bowles also reported that Sean Riley said he intended to file for the Fireward–Tamworth position.
M. Baumann moved to adjourn at 20:20; J. Hartley seconded and the motion passed with all in favor. The minutes were signed "Respectfully submitted, Jim Bowles, Chairman – Town of Tamworth Board of Firewards."
