The Oxford Community Schools Board Policy Committee on Nov. 6 reviewed the Thrun October policy update and recommended eight district policies to the Board for first reading.
Ryan Reid presented the Thrun October Update and called attention to specific policy references the committee discussed, including 3118, 3119, 4113 F-1 and 4113 F-2. The committee continued its review of optional Thrun policies, according to meeting minutes.
After discussion the committee recommended that the Board consider the following policies for first reading: 2203.01, 3118, 3119, 4113, 4113 F-1, 4113 F-2, 5405 and 5412. The minutes do not record a formal roll-call vote on that recommendation; they state only that the policies were "recommended to the Board for first reading."
Trustee S. Gibson moved and Vice President M. Aldred supported approval of the committee’s Oct. 2 minutes earlier in the meeting; that motion carried 3–Aye. Amanda McDonough, committee chair, called the meeting to order at 11:32 a.m.; the session adjourned at 1:41 p.m.
The items recommended for first reading will be forwarded to the full Board for its next steps. The minutes document is signed by Amanda McDonough and dated Dec. 4, 2025.
