Kensington trustee announces move; board unanimously elects Steve Sniderman chair

At a June 11 meeting of the Kensington Trustees of the Trust Funds, Trustee Kris Moody said he plans to leave Kensington and intends to submit his resignation to the town selectmen, and the trustees thanked him for his service.
After Moody’s announcement the remaining trustees voted unanimously to elect Trustee Steve Sniderman as the committee chair. The minutes record that the election was by unanimous vote; the minutes do not specify a motion maker or second. Trustees recorded in attendance were Sue Cannon, Kris Moody and Steve Sniderman.
Earlier in the meeting Moody shared a written set of instructions he created covering MS-9 and MS-10 input requirements and delivery dates for the town’s annual reporting. Trustees discussed recruiting someone to fill the vacancy until the next election but did not record a formal appointment or timetable for filling the seat.
The trustees postponed discussion of who will own creation of a new standard operating procedure (SOP) to a future meeting. The meeting adjourned at 11:00 a.m.; the minutes list the next meeting as Sept. 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
