The board entered closed session at 6:23 p.m.; in attendance during the student-discipline closed session were President Jessica Crouch, Vice President Shannon Daniels, Secretary Amanda Fox, Trustee John Jarpe, Trustee Holly Pomranka and Treasurer Charles Schmidt, together with Superintendent Travis Walker. The record indicates the board returned to open session at 7:22 p.m., and the subsequent disciplinary motion carried 6-0.
The meeting minutes record an initial template motion for a 180-day expulsion but show no motion was made on that draft; the board instead approved the motion described above. The minutes state the expelled student is not to be on any Brandywine Community School District property while the expulsion is in force.
