At its April 3 meeting, the Maple River co‑op committee recorded two offers made and accepted for head and assistant volleyball coaching positions for 2025–26 and noted that Alli Roller has submitted hiring paperwork.
The committee directed that junior high boys and girls basketball positions be posted with the goal of increasing coaching from one to two coaches per group; if multiple coaches are not secured by May 6 the item will be revisited. C‑squad (boys and girls) coaching remains contingent on participation numbers; the committee expects to review numbers by the end of the school year and decide whether to field C‑squad teams.
To ensure staffing is in place for team planning and summer camps, the committee recorded contract timelines: fall/winter sports contracts to be issued by May 1 and returned by May 15; spring sports contracts to be issued by Sept. 15 and returned by Sept. 30. The minutes list anticipated coaching needs: girls basketball may require three coaches (varsity, JV and C) while boys basketball currently looks to need two coaches pending C‑squad determinations.
The minutes do not record a formal vote on hires or contracts; they record offers accepted, posting directions, and timetable expectations for contract issuance and return.
