One commissioner registered opposition: "Opposed," a vote the chair logged as Commissioner Sue Hansen opposing removal of section 2a2 from the contract. The meeting record states the contract will be presented to Mr. White as approved by counsel.
The board did not record details of the legal advice given in the executive session. The chair said, "For consideration appointment of Dave White as interim, county manager on a contract basis and approval of chair's signature on a contract for services between mister White and the county as approved by council," and the board voted to strike section 2a2 from the employment contract.
