The Grand Ledge Election Commission on April 14, 2026, voted to adopt Resolution #03 of 2026, appointing precinct inspectors for the city’s May 5, 2026, election. Commissioner Jancek moved to adopt the resolution; Commissioner Newman seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
The action was the meeting’s principal formal decision. The commission opened with a roll call that showed Commissioners Jancek and Newman present and Commissioner Diesen absent. There were no public comments during the audience participation period.
Earlier in the meeting the commission reached consensus to approve the commission minutes from March 4, 2026. The commission then took up new business and the precinct-inspector appointments were approved by motion.
