Hopkins County approves disaster-recovery, water-services and interlocal agreements

Hopkins County's Commissioners Court on Nov. 12 approved three professional agreements designed to support disaster recovery, water-related services and law-enforcement coordination.
The court approved a professional services agreement with GrantWorks, Inc. to provide disaster recovery management services for the community storm shelter; the contract is funded entirely through the grant. Separately, the court authorized a professional master services agreement with H2O Partners, Inc. The court also approved an interlocal agreement with the City of Paris to continue Hopkins County's participation in an auto-theft taskforce.
Commissioner Greg Anglin moved approval of the contracts; motions were seconded and carried unanimously. County staff indicated copies of the agreements are attached to the official minutes.
What comes next: The county will execute the contracts and proceed with grant-funded work for the storm shelter and with the interlocal taskforce arrangement.
