The Reedsburg Common Council recognized Diane Fry for 18 years and 9 months of service with the Reedsburg Ambulance and noted her roughly 18 years of service as a 9-1-1 dispatcher.
Mayor Lehi introduced the recognition and invited colleagues and Josh to offer brief remarks. Colleagues highlighted the difficulty and attrition inherent in EMS work and called Fry's long service "a recognizable moment" for the city. Diane Fry responded briefly, thanking colleagues for the recognition.
Council members noted improvements in squad capabilities during Fry's tenure, including on-scene blood administration and a 'baby box' program, and wished her well in retirement.
