Ada County removes erroneous low bid and awards sheriff's office records remodel to Triple G Construction

The Ada County Board of Commissioners voted July 14 to remove Patriot Floors from consideration for bid 26051 and to award the Ada County Sheriff's Office records remodel contract to Triple G Construction.

Procurement staff told the board Patriot Floors, a subcontractor, submitted a bid of about $23,000 that the evaluation team and other bidders viewed as inconsistent with the rest of the field, which clustered near half a million dollars. During the award discussion a commissioner read the procurement letter and staff noted the contract amount as $411,748.
