PBA advisory board hears server migration update and owner's representative reports signage, elevators and ICB remodel; temporary roof averts elevator damage

The PBA advisory board met and received status reports on IT, building repairs and construction milestones. The chair introduced an item on upgrading and migrating the server; a participant reported that the server migration is ongoing and likely complete if not already: "Jane's not here, but that's ongoing, and we should be completed, if not by now," the participant said.
Bill, the owner's representative, briefed the board on multiple PBA facility matters. He said emergency-ops signage delivery is scheduled the week of Sept. 14 with installation to follow. Concerning elevators, he reported Metro 1 has been accepted for operational use pending final documentation and warranties, while Metro 2 is progressing with no changes. On the ICB remodel, Bill said reinforcing-steel forming and column work are underway and cited a schedule target of "07/01/2027" for the current milestone. He told the board that ARPA-funded mechanical and interior partition work should be billed in late August with final payment and ARPA closeout in September.
During new business, Keith reported crews installed a temporary roof over the Metro 1 elevator shaft ahead of heavy rain, preventing damage to elevator equipment and the mechanical room: "We put a temporary roof on and avoided any deluge that might have affected the elevator that's running," he said. He added crews will solicit quotes for a permanent roof and reported no damage was found to elevator equipment.
The chair moved to receive the reports and the board approved by voice vote. No formal procurement or ordinance actions were taken at the meeting; members asked schedule and inspection questions and directed staff to continue coordination and documentation for final turnovers and billing.
