Councilmember Bell praised the 'Thunder over Radcliff' fireworks and the youth theater production at John Harding High School. "Massive. It was massive," Bell said of the event and thanked staff for their work.
Miss Morrow urged residents to avoid devolving disputes on social media and to use direct contact channels: "If it's in your neighborhood... say something. If it's an animal, if it's a child, if it's an elderly person that needs assistance, we have code enforcement." She also promoted a free teen night hosted by Mayor Ogden on July 17 at Optimus Park for ages 12–18 and listed backpack giveaway dates including July 25 at Radcliff Elementary School.
Miss Owens thanked volunteers and local businesses that supported backpack giveaways and cleanup, and staff noted the city distributed more than 600 snow cones during recent events.
The chair and council discussed heavy rains, urged residents to report plugged ditches or debris to public works, and said the tethering ordinance will be published for public awareness and enforcement. The meeting concluded with reminders about upcoming meetings and the session adjourned.
