Old Tappan council adopts consent appointments; introduces salary-ordinance amendment for new part-time finance clerk

The Borough of Old Tappan adopted a consent resolution that confirmed several routine appointments and contract awards and introduced an amendment to the 2024 salary ordinance to accommodate a new part‑time finance/file clerk.

Councilman Blonde introduced the staffing change and said the full‑time assistant tax collector will become part time and the borough has hired a part‑time file clerk to fill the hours. "Her name, the new file clerk's name is Maria Tramarci, and she will be supporting Joanne Forcellati," he said. The council placed the appointments on the consent agenda and adopted the consent resolution by roll call.

As part of the same item, the council introduced Ordinance 12‑60‑24 on first reading to amend the 2024 salary ordinance and set compensation for the new position.
