Town Administrator Melissa Cook‑MacKenzie presented the bonuses “in accordance with the personnel manual.” Vice‑Mayor Kimberly Davis moved to approve the bonuses; Commissioner Catherine Bernard‑Dutton seconded the motion, which passed without recorded opposition.
The board also approved Budget Amendment 2026‑005 to recognize the Maryland Heritage Fund grant and add $9,600 to fixed assets for building improvements to the Old Town Lock‑Up stairway. The budget amendment motion was moved by Vice‑Mayor Davis and seconded by Commissioner Bernard‑Dutton and approved by all present.
Mayor Kelly Benson thanked staff for their work throughout the year and asked the Assistant Town Administrator to compile a list of 2025 project accomplishments for the record.
