The Ballston Spa Ethics Board voted unanimously on July 6 to dismiss a complaint filed by Councilman Fendrick alleging Supervisor Antoski violated the town’s confidentiality rule, the board said after its meeting at Town Hall.
Steven Zarelli, Ethics Board member, said the board reviewed Fendrick’s complaint — received June 18, 2026 (a related notarized statement was submitted June 4, 2026) — and "did not find any evidence to substantiate the claim and moved to dismiss the claim." The dismissal motion was seconded by Kris DuBuque, Ethics Board member, and all members present voted in favor.
The meeting was called to order by Patrick Whitton, Ethics Board member, at 5:15 p.m. The acting secretary conducted roll call; those recorded present were Steven Zarelli, Kris DuBuque, Tom Mazza and Patrick Whitton. Chairman James Towne was listed as absent. The board approved minutes from its June 15, 2026 meeting on a motion by Tom Mazza, seconded by Whitton; that motion passed unanimously.
Board members moved into and later left an executive session to discuss the complaint. Tom Mazza moved to enter executive session and Kris DuBuque seconded; the board voted in favor. On returning to the regular meeting, Zarelli announced the board’s finding and moved to dismiss the complaint.
With no further business, Whitton moved to adjourn; DuBuque seconded and the meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
