Monroe County approves $2.5M RACP agreement for Great Wolf Lodge, adopts budgets and opioid‑settlement grants

As part of opioid‑settlement spending authorized at the meeting, commissioners approved memoranda of understanding with Synchronicity Recovery for $100,000, Guardian Angel Recovery House for $60,000, and Nehemiah Sober Living, Inc. for $4,750 to support county‑wide recovery initiatives. The board also authorized a consultant services agreement (up to $33,000) for treatment court work funded from opioid settlement funds.

"The county is a pass through for the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant and the grant is funded by the state in this case to assist in encouraging tourism which is a key industry in Monroe County," Christy said.
