City Attorney Olivia Krebs presented the matter and the motion to suspend charging for curb stops was approved by roll-call vote with Commissioners Dallas Hauck, Ben Bohn, Darcy Dressler, Mark Aman and President Jesse Aman recorded as voting aye. The minutes record the suspension as a temporary administrative hold, not a permanent policy change.
Public Works Superintendent Connor Gill reported that the city's water tower is scheduled for cleaning this fall. The minutes say the city will receive at least 24 hours’ notice before the work and residents will be notified. Gill also flagged driveway and local road issues for review; engineering firm SEH was noted as the party that will review affected areas.
Planning and Zoning Administrator Loretta Marshik told the commission that videos are being reviewed for the sanitary sewer SS Lining phase 1, indicating staff are assessing the project’s progress and condition. The commission also discussed a recent sewer backup; the minutes note the issue under old business but do not record any formal remediation vote.
