The owner and restaurant representative disputed the complaint, saying the establishment uses a small soundbar under a TV and that staff do not leave amplified music running after hours. Police told the board they had two calls on the matter but had found nothing substantiating the claimed disturbances on those visits.
Chair Gregory Brant read portions of the written submission into the record and told the owner the city’s departments would investigate further. "No action taken," the board stated at the close of the discussion, while advising the owner that additional complaints or police substantiation could prompt a formal enforcement proceeding.
The board did not vote on penalties or license changes at this hearing; it left the record open for municipal departments to follow up and report back if further evidence emerges.
