Charlemont Agricultural Commission approves annual letter for inclusion in next tax mailing

The Charlemont Agricultural Commission on Nov. 25 approved its annual letter and directed that it be included in the next tax mailing. Commission member Victoria Valenti moved to approve the letter; commission member Nathaniel Bellows seconded the motion, and the minutes record that all present voted in favor.

The vote was taken during a telephone conference called to order at 6:11 p.m. and attended by commission members Randy Prostak, Nathaniel Bellows and Victoria Valenti; Sonny Crawford joined after the start at 6:16 p.m. The commission recorded the meeting adjournment at 6:22 p.m.

The minutes assign implementation tasks for the mailing: Sarah will make copies at Town Hall; Clare will take the letters to Staples to tri-fold them and will be reimbursed by the commission; Clare will then deliver the finished materials to Lynn for inclusion in the tax mailing. The minutes do not specify job titles or last names for Sarah, Clare or Lynn.

A separate line in the minutes records another 'Motion to approve' moved by Randy Prostak and seconded by Sonny Crawford with the notation 'All in favor'; the minutes do not identify the object of that motion.
