County highway update: drain tile, upcoming county‑road work and slide repair timelines

Sedler said drain tile work started last Monday and that about eight miles remain. Knife River is mobilizing to work on County Road 16, and Duinincks plans to start projects on County Roads 2N, 3, 8 and 26 in mid to late August. Patch work was completed on both sides of Christine; Sedler said the in‑town patching will remain but that the west side will be tilled down and reworked. Comstock is expected to start slide repair north of Mooreton toward the end of the month, and Shrackey's should complete a patch on County Road 1 by the end of the week, Sedler said in response to commissioner questions.
Commissioners asked several clarifying questions about project timing and the permanence of Christine patchwork; Sedler provided the updates summarized above.
