The Petroleum County Commissioners opened their July 22 mid‑month meeting in Winnett and approved the meeting agenda and the July 8 minutes.
Treasurer Pam Bevis reported on cash balances and pledged securities and said the county's audit report was posted to Local Government Services. Clerk & Recorder Jess Hoge said payroll and claims were signed and timecards reviewed; she said she will attend the Clerk & Recorder convention in Miles City Aug. 5–9 and will be out of the office during that period.
Sheriff Dan Linder provided routine updates and noted he had attended the Winnett All‑Class Reunion. The meeting concluded with other department updates and adjourned at 2:50 p.m.
