Breckenridge council approves ADU code changes on first reading and adopts dog-park, procedure and open-space resolutions

The Breckenridge Town Council took several formal actions during its July 14 meeting, including approving an ADU code amendment on first reading and adopting three resolutions covering dog-park rules, council rules of procedure and the naming of Little Daisy Open Space.

Council also adopted Resolution No. 11, Series 2026 to approve updated dog-park rules and regulations that include proof-of-vaccination requirements for visiting dogs and procedures for identifying dogs in bite incidents; Public Works will update signage and post rules online if the resolution is adopted (the resolution passed). The council adopted Resolution No. 12, Series 2026 updating town council rules of procedure and decorum to reflect how meetings are currently conducted. Finally, Council adopted Resolution No. 13, Series 2026 to formally name portions of the McCain parcel as Little Daisy Open Space; staff discussed signage and potential future road-naming processes.
