The board ratified a stipulated settlement in a real estate tax appeal involving 739 Bethlehem Pike, a property owned by National Retail Properties Trust improved with a car wash. Director of Finance Lane Bergey said the school district had appealed an assessed value of $537,000; the proposed settlement increases assessed value by $79,550 for 2026 and would result in an additional $2,048 owed for the 2024–2026 tax years. The solicitor reviewed the settlement and recommended approval; the board authorized the solicitor to execute the document.
Bergey then presented a year-to-date financial update: overall revenues and expenses are roughly on budget. Real estate and business taxes are about 80–90% of budget (front-loaded), EIT and LST collections are about halfway through the year, and the township is about $830,000 under budget on capital projects to date (not including the recent LED conversion). Bergey said no unexpected revenue or expense items emerged in the report.
