Council approves Clifton Wine relocation; several permit items deferred or withdrawn

The Planning Commission reported to Council on pending local business land-use applications at the July 2 meeting.
Kathy Kalinowski presented the Commission's recommendation to approve Clifton Wine LLC's application to move from Suites 1C and 2C into Suites 2A and 2B at 7145 Main Street, totaling 915 square feet; Council approved the Planning Commission recommendation on a motion by Wayne Nickum, seconded by Chuck Rusnak, with a unanimous vote.
Kalinoswki (sic) also reported that an application from Mario and Luigi LLC for expansion into additional space and for special-events dining was postponed at the applicant's request. Questions arising from an amended use-permit application for Peterson's Ice Cream Depot were deferred pending receipt of additional applicant information; the minutes record that Tom Peterson stated he withdrew his application.
Council did not record further action on the deferred items; the Planning Commission will revisit them when applicants supply additional information.
