Mayor William R. Hollaway proposed creation of a Clifton Trails Committee to prepare a plan for Phase 2 of Clifton Creek Park, noting the Town co-owns the property with the NVCT. The council moved and unanimously approved establishing the committee and naming Mark Khosravi as chair.
At the same meeting the council also approved a motion to nominate Mark Khosravi as Town Naturalist. The move is intended to provide a point person for trail planning and coordination with the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust and volunteers who will support development of a walking trail connecting town assets.
