During closed session the board considered job descriptions, employment and compensation for the custodian, treasurer and DPW crew. In open session the board approved hiring Melissa (surname not specified) as custodian for four days per week at $15/hour with one day at the senior center, contingent on employment requirements. The board also approved a salary increase for Finance Director/Treasurer Julie Reis to $92,849 annually and raised Chris Harmon’s hourly DPW pay to $31/hour; all three actions passed unanimously.
Trustees instructed the Finance & Administration Committee to work on pay, job descriptions and details for any future administrator or DPW director position.
