Pleasant Prairie Village Board approves PUD name change, lot-line adjustment, SRO renewal and lifts weight limit on Bain Station Road

Trustees discussed enforcement challenges, roadway life‑cycle impacts and potential inclusion of needed reconstruction in the TID 10/11 project plan. Motion carried.
School Resource Officer agreement (SRO): The board approved a renewal agreement with Kenosha Unified School District to provide a village SRO to serve Lakeview Tech Academy and three elementary schools in Pleasant Prairie through Dec. 31, 2024 as a stopgap while Lakeview Tech’s move is completed; staff said after Jan. 1, 2025 the SRO assignment will cease and the officer will return to patrol. Motion carried.
