Select Board approves minutes, timber-tax warrants and Town House electrical work

The Orange Select Board on Nov. 19 approved routine administrative items and several motions affecting town property and tax collection.
Motions recorded in the minutes include: approval of the public meeting minutes of Nov. 4, 2024 (motion by Betsy Coble; second by Aaron Allen; vote recorded 2-0-0); approval and sealing of non-public minutes from Oct. 24 and Nov. 12, 2024 (motion by Betsy Coble; second by Aaron Allen; 2-0-0); and approval and signing of timber-tax warrants for the Moyers 2024 timber cut (map 1, lot 46C) and the Daley 2024 timber cut (map 1, lot 46D), each moved by Aaron Allen and seconded by Betsy Coble and recorded as passing 2-0-0.
Resident Dave Stacy asked about installing outdoor electrical outlets at the Town House. Aaron Allen moved, and Betsy Coble seconded, to add outdoor electrical outlets when the contracted electrical work is begun; the motion was recorded as approved 2-0-0.
The chair signed the November treasurer’s report and Select Board reconciliation. Bills and vouchers were reviewed and signed. The board confirmed its next meeting for Dec. 3, 2024 at 6 p.m. and adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
