The Orford Selectboard on Aug. 28 reviewed and approved the 2024 MS-434 estimated revenue report and the 2024 MS-1 and MS-1V property valuation reports prepared by Assessor Todd Haywood. Both approvals passed on motions by Selectboard member Kevin Follensbee, seconded by Larry Taylor, with votes recorded as 3-0. The reports will be uploaded to the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration portal.
The board also agreed to name Esther Dobbins-Marsh as the town's primary CEO designee for HealthTrust, noting the person named must have an email address to receive documents.
The meeting briefly moved into non-public session under RSA 91-A:3, II(a) for personnel matters at 7:35 p.m. on a motion by Follensbee, seconded by Taylor; a roll-call vote was affirmative. The board resumed the regular meeting at 7:58 p.m., voted to seal the non-public minutes and then adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
Other administrative items: the board reviewed several correspondence items and approved the Friends of the Orford Libraries' request to use the Transfer Station for their annual membership drive.
