The Orange Select Board on Aug. 20 accepted the MS60 Report of Locally Elected Auditors prepared by Cohos Advisors and reviewed a State of New Hampshire payment schedule for Highway Block Grant Aid totaling $45,410.05.
Betsy Coble moved to accept the MS60 report as prepared by Cohos Advisors; Sandi Pierson seconded and the motion passed, 3-0-0. Earlier in the meeting, the board approved the minutes of the public and nonpublic meetings of Aug. 5, 2024, on motions by Sandi Pierson and seconds from Betsy Coble; both motions passed 3-0-0.
According to the letter the board reviewed, the Highway Block Grant Aid total is $45,410.05. The town received the first payment of $13,623.01 on July 29, 2024; remaining payments are scheduled for October 2024, January 2025 and April 2025. The board recorded the schedule during its review but did not take additional budget action at the meeting.
The MS60 report was presented to the board as prepared by Cohos Advisors; the board voted to accept that report without amendment. No additional findings or follow-up tasks were recorded in the public minutes.
The board set its next regular meeting for Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024 at 6 p.m.
