Commissioners approve several payroll actions, hire plan for records clerk and a promotion to AP clerk

Osage County commissioners on June 30 approved several personnel actions, including resignations, internal reassignments and a promotion, and heard a hiring intent from the county clerk.
Treasurer Becky Holmberg brought forward payroll actions: the commission accepted the resignation of Cassandra Whyman effective June 24; approved Rebecca Bronson’s change from deputy to motor vehicle clerk effective June 29; and approved Christy Bond’s reassignment from motor vehicle clerk to deputy treasurer effective June 29. Each action was moved by Commissioner Heather Kuder, seconded by Commissioner Brandon Smith and carried.
During executive-session follow-up, the commission approved a payroll action submitted by Tony Parish appointing Addy Esquibel to Accounts Payable Clerk effective June 28. Commissioners also discussed but took no action on County Attorney payroll forms (tabled for two weeks).
County Clerk Jay Hatfield said he intends to hire a records clerk/receptionist at a starting wage of $17 per hour; the item was presented under administrative communications and no formal hiring vote was recorded that day.
The minutes do not provide personnel files, job descriptions or lists of candidates; those records are typically maintained by county HR or the respective department.
