Richmond ZBA tables proposal to move meetings and asks staff to distribute state training materials

Vice Chair Antoinette Cincotta told the Zoning Board on Feb. 12 that statewide training and updated planning, zoning and building-code materials from 2025 remain available online and recommended board members review the State’s Zoning Board handbook.
Cincotta asked Land Use Assistant Lisa La Clair to make printed copies of the handbook and related materials for distribution to board members. She also recommended that, when hearings occur, each member bring the Zoning Ordinance booklet, the Zoning Board handbook and the Planning and Land Use Regulations book so the information is readily available during hearings.
Cincotta proposed considering a change to the board’s start time — from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. — but the board tabled that proposal to the next meeting so members could weigh the timing change.
No formal action was taken on training or the meeting-time proposal at the Feb. 12 session.
