Richmond ZBA says Planning Board is compiling updates to town Zoning Ordinance booklet

Vice Chair Antoinette Cincotta told the Richmond Zoning Board of Adjustment on Feb. 12 that the Planning Board has been researching and compiling the changes needed so the town’s Zoning Ordinance booklet conforms to what voters approved in prior ballots.
Land Use Assistant Lisa La Clair reported that the Planning Board’s research is continuing and that the update process is still in progress; the agenda specifically referenced Section 1105.1.4 as part of the booklet review. No formal amendments or votes to change ordinance text were made at the meeting.
Cincotta also raised a practical access issue: she and La Clair agreed to arrange a file-folder station at Town Hall where zoning application forms and related materials can be hung and made available to the public. The board recorded that Cincotta and La Clair would coordinate the installation.
Robert Gow and Cincotta provided an update on separate research into the two men for whom the Taylor-Van Brocklin Building is named; they said they will continue compiling information and present further findings at the next scheduled meeting.
The board did not take any final action on ordinance language at the Feb. 12 session; members expressed that more research and compilation by the Planning Board remain necessary. The ZBA will revisit the ordinance-booklet updates at a future meeting.
