The Town of Richmond Planning Board on March 17 approved a lot line adjustment for property owned by Edward McCaul at 111 and 119 Old Homestead Highway (Map 201 Lot 1 / Map 408 Lot 82) after granting several procedural waivers.
At the start of the hearing, board members said the adjustment would not change the property’s use and that no new construction, septic system or driveway was proposed. Chair Doug Smith and other members moved to accept waivers for wetlands/boundary detail requirements (504.1‑R), septic permit documentation (501.6), driveway permit from the Department of Transportation or town (501.7), percolation and septic area mapping and protected well radius (504.1‑U), and the requirement to list applicable national, state and local laws conforming to Article 6 section 601 (501.13). The board recorded aye votes from Lisa Traeger, Melissa Axtman, Thomas Glod, Doug Bersaw, Greg Butko and Doug Smith on each waiver motion; the motions carried.
Following the waiver votes, the board moved to approve the lot line adjustment. The motion to approve, made by Doug Bersaw and seconded by Lisa Traeger, carried with the same roll‑call affirmative votes. The public hearing was then closed and the board continued to new business.
Board members did not list additional conditions or next steps in the hearing record; survey, permitting or filing actions required to record the adjusted lot lines were not specified in the transcript.
