Chair Doug Smith proposed the change during new business; member Greg Butko moved to adopt the amendment and Doug Bersaw seconded. The motion passed with recorded yes votes from Lisa Traeger, Brad Grinstead, Doug Bersaw and Doug Smith.
Board members said the later start time and alternate venue were intended to allow for greater public participation in hearings on ordinances and plan reviews. No opposition to the change was recorded in the minutes.
The procedures change was approved by vote at the Jan. 20 meeting and will take effect under the board’s updated Planning Board Procedures until superseded by future action.
