Randolph committee approves May minutes, appoints alternate and signs invoices

The Randolph Community Forest Committee approved the May 7 minutes, appointed David Willcox to sit for Nate Reid, approved payment of the Jefferson tax bill pending clarification and signed several invoices; two payments were received and recorded.
At its June 4, 2025 meeting at Randolph Town Hall, the committee approved the minutes of its May 7 meeting on a motion by Laura Brockett, seconded by Tim Mather.
The panel appointed David Willcox to sit in for Nate Reid for this meeting. In financial business, the committee reviewed several invoices and authorized payment. An invoice from the Town of Jefferson raised a question about the amount due; Mark Kelley said he would contact Jefferson to clarify the figure. On a motion by David Willcox, seconded by Tim Mather, the committee voted unanimously to approve payment of the Jefferson tax bill pending clarification. Other invoices reviewed and signed included a Gorham tax bill for $6.01, a Rotten Rock Welding Company deposit for gates totaling $11,475, a LandVest April bill for $1,152.90, Smith and Town Printers for $444.00 and payment to Elise Lawson (Watershed to Wildlife) for $525.00.
The commission recorded receipt of two payments: a Fuller payment of $37,212.50 for the maple tap lease and a $25,379.76 payment from LandVest. No further action was taken on those receipts during the meeting.
