Orford approves contract for vault assessment and diesel-spill soil work; state petroleum fund to cover costs

At the Sept. 11 meeting the Selectboard signed a contract with Green Site Services to perform a structural assessment of the vault at the Highway garage and to prepare a work plan for excavation of impacted soils associated with a diesel spill claim. The board recorded that the work will be covered 100% by the New Hampshire State petroleum fund.
In the signature folder the Selectboard also signed a NH Department of Transportation Certificate of Authority appointing Kevin Follensbee to sign items related to the Archertown Road–Jacobs Brook bridge project.
