Community Development Director Dave Johnson told the Coralville City Council at its June 9 work session that the IRL Parkview Phase 4 application will amend the Master Development Plan to show a downsized building parallel to Interstate 80 that will contain 51 residential units, an increase of four units from the prior plan, and six additional parking spaces.
Johnson also presented Lots 10 and 12 in the Coral Ridge Commerce Park, Part Two subdivision along Crosspark Road for council information. He said the items were part of the July Planning and Zoning Commission update and were being provided for the Commission's upcoming review.
Johnson reported the developer on the IRP project is working with the state on historic tax credit requirements. Council Member Mike Knudson asked about a trail behind the new Parkview building and whether it would connect to the existing trail along the Iowa River; Johnson described the proposed trail alignment but no formal direction or vote is recorded in the transcript.
The presentation on the Parkview amendment and the commerce‑park lots was informational. The transcript records no motions, votes or formal council actions on these items at the work session.
