A motion to enter executive session was made, seconded and approved by voice; the superintendent and invited staff attended the session. The board returned from executive session at 8:10 p.m.
The superintendent said she would notify families this week after the public meeting to ensure the community hears official information first and emphasized that some security strategy details need to remain confidential for safety reasons.
The superintendent’s report to the board also included routine operational updates: preliminary 2026‑27 enrollment estimates (approximately 385 in‑district students), a resignation from a third‑grade teacher (Rachel Turley) and progress on a joint BCBA contract and business‑office staffing changes (Sharon Naser hired as town business manager).
