The Paul Memorial Library Board of Trustees met April 20 and approved the minutes from the March 23 meeting and accepted a $500 donation for books, according to the minutes submitted by Clerk Jack Parnham.
The treasurer reported account balances of $1,321.86 in the general fund, $5,210.45 in the donation account and $341.45 in petty cash; the manifest showed expenses of $2,852.84 and income of $95.36. The board recorded that Win Fream will follow up with the Board of Selectmen on invoices for oil and electricity and will seek placement on a Selectmen agenda to review the full line-item budget and Trustees of the Trust funds. The minutes also note a proposal to move $2,500 from the donation account into the general fund but do not record a formal vote on that transfer.
The meeting record lists the board members in attendance as Win Fream, Britney Thompson, Jack Parnham and Michael Markey and records that the director’s report was submitted. The board set a follow-up timetable for budget review with town leadership.
