Lisbon Cemetery Association reviews grub damage, shed repairs and trustee funding

Donna Knighton, of the Lisbon Cemetery Association, reported that the association’s cemetery software vendor, Cem Sites, lacks the resources to add updated information to the group’s system. Members recorded that minutes from the June 2 meeting were read and a motion to accept the minutes was made by Donna Knighton and seconded by Todd Fisher; the transcript records the motion but does not record the vote tally or explicit outcome.
Lisa Heathe wrote a check to Donna Knighton for $886.80 to purchase 24 flag holders at $36.95 each for Grove Hill; Knighton reported she installed 21 of the 24 holders. Knighton also presented a contractor quote from Claude LaPete to repair grass that grubs ruined, with the quoted cost of $5,800.
Knighton said trustees have provided funds to cover imminent work: she reported Trustees sent checks of $1,000 to pay for H&H tree cutting and $5,800 to pay Claude LaPete for mowing and grub repairs. The trustees’ balance was reported as $18,283.58 as of June 15, 2025.
Todd Fisher reported a small tree fall left a hole in the Grove Hill storage shed roof; he said he will inspect whether new shingles or a full roof replacement is needed and will report back. Fisher also said trees at the ravine are growing over the road and he will ask the Town crew to trim them. He said recent mowing at Grove Hill lacked trimming and appeared messy, and he suggested the association consider hiring Claude LaPete for next year’s mowing.
The meeting was called to order at 5:20 p.m. and adjourned at 6:10 p.m. The association scheduled its next meeting for Aug. 25, 2025; minutes were recorded by Lisa Heathe.
