Pecatonica honors students and staff with ‘Pride of Pecatonica’ awards

Middle-school nominee Ella Fisher was commended for growth in math and a willingness to seek help, and high-school recognizee Cass was noted for academic progress and contributions to class discussions.
The board also recognized staff member Stephanie Anderson, a nearly 10-year district employee who works in food service and leads the after-school program. Colleagues described Anderson as "phenomenal" and "resourceful," praising her ability to manage large groups, create activities for students and support families during events such as Veterans Day.
The board invited families and recipients to pose for photographs after the awards and thanked the PTO and volunteers who supported school events.
