Selectboard approves consent agenda, accepts treasurer resignation and discusses interim staffing

The Greenfield Selectboard approved the meeting’s consent agenda and addressed several administrative and personnel matters during its April 29 session.
Chair Tom Bascom called for a vote on the consent agenda, which included the A/P check register, an abatement, the sewer tax levy worksheet and multiple transfer requests. Selectman Michael Borden moved to approve the consent agenda; Selectman George Rainier seconded, and the board voted 3-0 in favor.
The board accepted the resignation of Town Treasurer Susan Johnson and offered thanks for her service; the minutes say the board agreed to offer the Treasurer position to Deputy Treasurer Erin Riendeau. Members discussed wages for the Interim Town Administrator and Interim Office Manager positions and reviewed the transition from Town Administrator Aaron Patt to Interim Town Administrator Wendy Drouin.
The board finished signing documents and at 8:45 p.m. Selectman George Rainier moved to adjourn; Selectman Michael Borden seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
