Superintendent thanks staff, introduces new principal and reports several resignations

Superintendent Keevin O'Neill opened his report at the June 8 Vicksburg school-board meeting by thanking retiring employees, staff and families for a successful school year and by introducing Brittnea Bolz as the district’s new principal at Sunset Lake Elementary.
O'Neill also reported that summer services are underway across the district and that construction projects have begun for the summer season. He listed several recent staff departures and personnel items: resignations by Sanchez; Orlowski; Gilman; Resseguie; and Mcliechey, and noted that tenure recommendations for eligible staff were on the superintendent’s report.
The items were presented as informational reports to the board; there were no recorded motions or votes associated with the personnel list during this meeting.
