Stephenson Memorial Library trustees reviewed several administrative items April 23. They amended the library bylaws (SML-POL-01), changing Article 5 Section 1 to read “Monday.” The mission statement as recorded in the bylaws is “A Place to Connect.” Andra Hall, chair, moved to accept the bylaws as amended; Wendy Durrett seconded and the motion passed.
Trustees noted that SML-POL-03 (Library Bill of Rights) cannot be updated unless a new federal version issues. The board reviewed SML-POL-24 (Crotched Mountain Consortium Policy) and voted to accept it as written.
Under new business, Andra Hall will go to the bank to add Wendy Durrett as the new Treasurer signatory and remove an individual named Bailey from signatory status. Jean Rube-Rainier will send updates to the trustees as a follow-up action.
The board moved into a nonpublic session at 8:49 p.m. under RSA 91-A:3, II(c). The record shows the board exited nonpublic at 9:17 p.m. and voted to seal the nonpublic minutes; the minutes record the motion and that it passed but do not include the nonpublic content.
