Neptune City board approves placing bond question on Nov. 3 ballot

The Neptune City Board of Education voted July 14 to place a bond question on the Nov. 3, 2026 general-election ballot.

Chief School Administrator (reading from bond counsel materials) said the language that will appear on the ballot was drafted by bond counsel and must be submitted by Aug. 19 so the matter appears on the November ballot. "This is just, approving the language that is going to show on the general election ballot," the administrator said.

The board moved on the addendum to the regular meeting agenda and voted in roll call. The motion was made by Mister Calhoun and seconded by Missus Emmons; roll call responses recorded in the transcript include affirmative votes from Mister Calhoun, Estellett, Miss Emmons, Skosis and Mister Cicino.
