Council Member Kathleen Hoock moved and Council Member Alexandra Powell‑Sardinas seconded approval of the Dec. 11, 2025 minutes, the Jan. 8 clerk's report and December 2025 financial reports; the motion passed 4‑0 with Council Member John Tyson absent.
Clerk Dorothy Gravelin said Town Hall interior renovations are primarily finished pending bathroom approval and kitchenette installation. Council reported the Dec. 13 Christmas party cost $2,859.58, leaving $2,140.42 in the Special Events budget for a potential pancake breakfast in spring. New Preserve signs are ready for pickup; the STOP sign at Wilson and Shannondale needs to be reinstalled. Mayor Russ Nidy said Florida DEP's NPDES MS4 audit (Aug. 5, 2025) found town facilities in compliance; the Town contributes to a countywide annual report and the Department conducts site visits every five years.
The meeting was adjourned on a motion by Council Member Hoock and seconded by Council Member Powell‑Sardinas; the motion passed 4‑0 with one member absent.
