River Ridge board elects officers, approves corrected minutes and notes bond‑note prepayment plan

At the Nov. 19 meeting, the River Ridge Community Development District adopted Resolution 2025‑02 to elect board officers for the coming term. Terry Mountford nominated the slate: Bob Schultz for chair, Terry Mountford for vice chair, and Kurt Blumenthal, Robert Twombly and Keith Merrill as assistant secretaries. The motion, moved by Mr. Mountford and seconded by Mr. Blumenthal, passed with all supervisors in favor.
The board also reviewed and amended the Oct. 22, 2024 meeting minutes to correct several names and wording; on motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Mountford, the minutes were approved as amended (unanimous).
Mrs. Adams presented the unaudited financial statements as of Oct. 31, 2024 and reported the Series 2022A Note will be closed with funds applied to prepay bond debt. Mr. Blumenthal asked why an Oct. 1 annual insurance payment did not appear in the check register; Mrs. Adams said she would investigate and report back.
These administrative actions reorganize board leadership, correct the official record and note a plan to apply Series 2022A funds toward bond prepayment; no additional budget votes were recorded on the fund application during the meeting.
