The board approved a sole-source purchase of Paxton Patterson CTE instructional materials and digital content for middle-school career readiness and fifth-grade career awareness for $119,322.93 using state PRC-14 CTE funds, citing existing use in two middle schools and a desire to standardize materials across all six middle schools.
The board also approved waiving facility-use fees and accepting required custodian costs for Eagles Baptist Church to use Carver Elementary School for a community vacation Bible school (set-up June 19 and program June 22–26), and approved other routine consent items including field trips and fundraisers.
