The Village of College Corner council voted Jan. 8 to adopt a phased infrastructure plan and recorded an ARPA-funded contract award. The adoption of the plan followed a motion by Chris, seconded by Ann, and was recorded as approved.
The village administrator reported the ARPA project award was made to WG Stang at a cost of $632,658.90. A pre-construction meeting is scheduled for Jan. 13 at 10:00 a.m., according to the administrator’s update.
Council members who participated in the vote included Molly, Ann, Chris, Brandy, Tracey, Gage and Tom (roll call recorded at the start of the meeting). The minutes record the phased infrastructure plan adoption as a formal motion (moved by Chris, seconded by Ann) and list the action as approved 3/0 in the minutes.
The Planning Committee reported on a Dec. 30 meeting that covered utilities and facilities, infrastructure and capital planning, streets, parking and vehicles, water meters, utility billing, ordinances and policies, EMS services and public safety — matters that feed into the phased plan the council adopted.
